I boosted my brightness to better see the animation, and I
noticed the ballerina in the picture frame...
I swear this is a pure coincidence. _________________ DrNo |

I downloaded it to my work’s laptop and it looks the same as it did on my own laptop. Are you viewing it on a CRT monitor?
I wonder if there are any settings for gamma in mpeg.

No, no. On a LCD screen.

I don’t think that it is a coincidence. I think that since we both imagined dancers it is obvious that the women would have paintings/posters of ballerinas in their rooms. As Robert said “great minds think alike” and the rejoinder says “fools seldom differ”
Even if you were influenced by my scene (and I’m not saying that you were) who cares. It is not important. _________________ Best Regards

Nothing worked for me. It says that the 9.9MB downloaded target

is not a movie file or can't be played.
Thanks youtube... |
I’ve uploaded a new version (thanks Thomas for the criticisms). Does this one play? _________________ Best Regards

Yes, this plays correctly from the site. Surprisingly, The first scene is looking well to me this way, but when I download and play it in RealPlayer, it looks too dark. I give up on gamma and such
Excellent, the camera lingering on the sleeping face. Those are important little touches. _________________ All the best,

It works fine and the lighting is also good. In fact I like it pretty much - especially the mirrored ballerina sequence.
BTW instead of using RealPlayer, QuickTime player, Divx Player and so on player for the various formats I'm using MPC with the full codec pack installed. It works perfectly well with everything I've encountered so far and is no spy-ware (like e.g. the RealPlayer). |

Thanks, I’ve never been known for either my textures or lighting. The lights in the dance studio are just four point lights two of them shadowless and a fade power of 2 with a fade distance of 100 (feet).

Thanks. I always had some misgivings about those packages. I shall try MPC. _________________ All the best,
